On the occasion of the 50 th anniversary of the founding of the Nigerian Cancer Society, it is our great pleasure and honour to extend to you a warm invitation to attend and participate in the National Conference to be held from 11 to 12 October, 2018 in the vibrant city of Abuja, Nigeria.
The conference has become the premier platform not only for the presentation of new medical knowledge, but also for unique networking opportunities. Building on the success of previous Conferences, the 2018 Conference will be the nation’s largest gathering of stakeholders in the field of cancer in Nigeria. With more than 2,000 delegates attending, this Conference will provide the ideal forum to discuss the latest advances in cancer control in Nigeria.
The Conference programme will be both exciting and ground-breaking in its wide-ranging and multidisciplinary content. The meeting will include besides the Keynote Lectures, oral and poster sessions, panel discussions, as well as exhibitions, which will be held in an informal environment, allowing close and detailed discussions between participants.
We encourage policy makers, nurses, oncologists, other clinicians, researchers, patients, advocates, and scientists in the field of cancer prevention and control to attend.
The Shehu Yaradua Centre will play host to this exciting Conference. Its location in the heart of central business district will allow easy access to Abuja’s multitude of world-class attractions.
We look forward to welcoming you to an inspiring, educational, and enjoyable programme in vibrant, beautiful and multicultural Abuja.
